Queen City Oil Company was established in 1877, it continued to operate until 1912. The company went through various name changes and acquisitions. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Trust first acquired it and then it was purchased by Imperial Oil in 1899. Lastly Standard obtained control of Imperial Oil.
